Recommendation: Fly to PDX and rent a car

• Portland Airport PDX is the closest airport with many direct flight options.
• Hood River is a 50min drive along the beautiful Columbia River gorge.
• The town of Hood River doesn't have taxi/rideshare so a car is needed to get around.

We will have a shuttle for getting to/from the wedding venue on Sunday, but you'll need your own transportation for the rest of the weekend.

Alternatives

• From PDX, there are buses via the Columbia Area Transit or Greyhound.
• There is a Hood River car service that can take you to/from PDX. It requires pre-reservation only.
• Amtrak's Empire Builder can also take you from downtown Portland to Bingen-White Salmon, directly across the river from Hood River and close to The Society Hotel.
• Note, while you can take a Lyft/Uber one way from PDX to Hood River, you won't be able to return.
